abstract | 1479572 Compositions containing triazolocycloalkathiadiazine RICHARDSON - MERRELL INC 5 Feb 1976 [28 April 1975] 4486/ 76 Heading A5B [Also in Division C2] Pharmaceutical compositions having antisecretory and CNS stimulant or depressant activity comprise, as active ingredient, a triazolocycloalkathiadiazine of the general formula wherein R 1 is H or C 1-4 alkyl, R 2 is H, acetyl, N-ethoxy-carbonylmethyl-carbamoyl, cinnamoyl or anilinocarbonyl, R 3 is H, C 1-15 alkyl, CF 3 , C 3-6 cycloalkyl, phenyl, C 2-8 alkoxyalkyl or C 7-10 phenoxyalkyl and A is a sigma bond or (CH 2 ) n in which n is 1-7, or a pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salt thereof, together with a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier and optionally a further active ingedient such as an antacid or acid adsorbent such as aluminium hydroxide or magnesium trisilicate, sedative such as a barbiturate, antihistaminic agent, antiemetic agent such as cyclizine or diphenhydramine or anticholinergic agent such as atropine, and may be administered orally or parenterally. |
