abstract | Compounds of the formula 10 in which R<7>, R<8> and R<9>, which can be identical or different, are each an alkyl or alkoxy group with 1 to 4 carbon atoms, or R<7> and R<8> together are an alkylenedioxy group with 1 to 4 carbon atoms, are prepared by reacting correspondingly substituted benzylacrylo- or benzylpropionitrile with guanidine. The compounds are intended in the form of their pharmaceutically acceptable monoacid addition salts as potentiator for sulphonamides in the preparation of clear aqueous solutions of sulphonamides in a medicinally acceptable, water-miscible organic solvent and water. The clear aqueous solutions are suitable for injection and infusion purposes and are distinguished by being well tolerated and having high stability. They can, for example, be injected directly into the veins without causing clot formation or tissue damage. <IMAGE> |
