titleOfInvention Thermally developable photographic materials
abstract 1469117 Heat-developable photographic materials FUJI PHOTO FILM CO Ltd 22 Jan 1975 [22 Jan 1974] 2885/75 Heading G2C Heat-developable photographic materials comprise in one or more layers (a) an organic silver salt such as silver laurate or behenate, (b) photosensitive silver halide, or a compound which reacts with organic silver salt (a) to form photo-sensitive silver halide, (c) a reducing agent and (d) at least one optical sensitizer of the Formula:- wherein R is a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group of 1-4C, e.g. ethyl, allyl, carboxypropyl, hydroxyethyl, or a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group, and Q completes a rhodanine, thiohydantoin or 2-thio-2:4-oxazolidone-dione nucleus which may be substituted. Lists are given of organic silver salts (a) and reducing agents (c) which may be used. The sensitizer improves sensitivity to blue light.
