abstract | 1460418 Benzoylureido-nitrodiphenyl ethers BAYER AG 21 Oct 1975 [6 Feb 1975 20 March 1975] 43107/75 Heading C2C The invention comprises compounds of the formula wherein R is F, Cl or CH 3 , R<SP>1</SP> is H, Cl or F, and R<SP>11</SP> and R<SP>111</SP> are identical and are each H or Cl, but if R is Cl and R<SP>1</SP> is H, R<SP>11</SP> and R<SP>111</SP> must be H. They may be obtained either by reacting a phenoxyaniline of the formula with a benzoyl isocyanate of the formula or by reacting a 4-isocyanato-diphenyl ether of the formula with a benzamide of the formula Both of these reactions may be effected in the presence of solvents. Insecticidal compositions comprise the compounds of Formula I in admixture with a solid, liquid or liquefied gaseous diluent which may contain a surface-active agent. |
