1447000 Surfactant coating SUMITOMO CHEMICAL CO Ltd 22 Nov 1974 [22 Nov 1973] 50735/74 Heading B2E [Also in Division B5] A solution of polyethylene glycol monostearate is coated on a microfilter evaporated and irradiated with a plasma generated by a glow discharge under nitrogen to form a crosslinked surfactant film on the filter. Similarly a thin coat of a polyoxyethylene cetyl ether is applied to a glass plate and the film irradiated by an electron beam to give a water insoluble film. |
