titleOfInvention | Apparatus for use in connexion with the analysing of gas mixtures |
abstract | 143,918. Svenska Aktiebolaget Mono. May 28, 1919, [Convention date]. Gas analysis.-The absorber b, through which the gases are passed on their way to the analyzing apparatus in order tc remove condensable constituents, is arranged so that a constant volume of absorbing-liquid, for example sulphuric acid, is maintained therein, surplus liquid being conveniently d i s c h a r g e d through a pipe k and liquid seal l ; by such an arrangement, the gas space of the inlet system to the analyzing-apparatus is maintained constant in volume. A receptacle n in the lower part of the apparatus receives the discharged liquid, and a filter h is provided on the inlet side of the absorber. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) included also a modification in which a valve was employed in place of the liquid seal l. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted. |
