titleOfInvention Photosensitive medium for holographic recording
abstract 1432633 Photo-sensitive materials with antihalation layers RCA CORPORATION 16 Aug 1973 [18 Aug 1972] 38707/73 Headings G2C and G2X] A photo-sensitive material for holography comprises a transparent support coated on one side with an anti-halation layer of a cured hydrophilic vinyl achol/vinyl acetal copolymer containing at least 5 wt. per cent of unreacted vinyl alcohol groups in which is disposed a light-absorbent dye and coated on the other side with a positive photoresist. The vinyl alcohol/vinyl acetal copolymers have preferably been cured using urea-formaldehyde resins and p-toluene sulphonic acid catalyst. The specified photo-resist is o-naphthoquinone diazide and a resin.
