abstract 1422655 Nitro derivatives of 2,5,8-triphenyltris-triazolobenzene ROBBANOANYAGIPARI FELUGYELET and ORSZAGOS KOOLAJES GAZIPARI TROSZT 1 March 1973 [8 March 1972] 10112/73 Heading C2C [Also in Division C4] Novel nitro derivatives of 2,5,8-triphenyl-tristriazolobenzene having the general formula wherein k, l and m are identical and represent 1 or 2, or k, l and m are different and represent 1, 2 or 3 with the proviso that the sum thereof is 7 or 8, or a nitromethane or nitric acid adduct thereof, are prepared by either (a) coupling a diazotized ortho- or paranitroaniline with 1,3,5- triaminobenzene, oxidizing the resulting 1,3,5- triamino - 2,4,6 - tri-(nitrophenylazo)-benzene of the formula in a solvent while adding water to the reaction mixture and optionally nitrating the obtained product and/or converting it into the nitromethane or nitric acid adduct thereof, or (b) nitrating 2,5,8-triphenyl-tris-triazolobenzene.
