titleOfInvention | Process for the manufacture of human transferrin labelled with indium-113 |
abstract | 1408066 Human transferrin labelled with indium-113 HOECHST AG 9 Aug 1973 [12 Aug 1972] 37730/73 Heading A5B An aqueous solution comprising human transferrin labelled with indium-113 is prepared by adding dropwise and acid eluate of and indium-113 generator which has an activity concentration of from 0.1 to 50 milli Curies per millilitre to an aqueous solution having a pH of from 7.5 to 8.5 and comprising, per millilitre, from 5 to 100 mg of human transferrin and from 3 to 10 mg of sodium bicarbonate. The acid eluate may be a hydrochloric acid eluate preferably of 0.01 to 0.2 N. The aqueous solution may be bought to isotonicity by the addition of sodium chloride. A method of measurement and location of the blood circulation, heart and placenta comprises administering to a subject the solution containing human transferrin labelled with indium-113 and measuring and locating the radiation emitted therefrom by a radiological method. |
