abstract 1405366 Stabilized rubbers BRIDGESTONE TIRE KK 26 March 1973 [24 March 1972] 14439/73 Headings C3P and C3E Rubbers are stabilized by reaction with a nitroso-quinoline of formula in which each R is H, OH, or a C 1-15 alkyl, aralkyl, cycloalkyl or aminoalkyl radical. Compounds in which at least one R is OH are preferred. Numerous rubbers are exemplified, those used in the specific examples being natural rubber, SBR, natural rubber/SBR mixtures, polyisoprene and polybutadiene, to which are also added conventional rubber compounding ingredients.
