abstract 1400444 Particulate detergent compositions UNILEVER Ltd 13 June 1972 [15 June 1971] 28080/71 Addition to 1204123 Heading C5D A particulate detergent composition consisting of (A) a surfactant-containing detergent powder and (B) granules of an organic extrudable solid containing a corrosion inhibitor (C), is prepared by the process of Specification 1,204,123. The corrosion inhibitor (C) may be a benzotriazole, a bis methylene benzotriazole, an ethoxylated phosphate ester, benzoinalpha-oxime or an alkali metal salt of a hydroxamic acid of formulĀµ wherein R 1 is C 11 to C 19 alkyl and R 2 is C 10 to C 18 alkyl. The extrudable solid (B) may be a polyglycol, a C 12 -C 20 alpha olefin sulphonate, sodium N-coconut acid-N-methyl laurate, polyethylene oxide-polypropylene oxide condensates, urea, alkylene oxide condensate with alcohols, alkylphenols, amides, amines and acids, sodium salt of a C 8 -C 22 fatty acid, starch, gelatine or a cellulose derivative. The surfactants may be anionic, non-ionic, cationic or ampholytic.
