abstract | 1388515 Adhesive compositions WARNERLAMBERT CO 26 March 1973 [13 April 1972] 39424/73 Divided out of 1373563 Headings C3F and C3U A dental adhesive comprises a substantially anhydrous mixture of (i) from 1À0% to 80% by weight of at least one cationic polymeric material selected from O-alkyl-trimethylammonium chloride-substituted anhydroglucose polymers, the alkyl radical containing up to 7 carbon atoms, and (ii) from 20 to 99% of at least one anionic gum selected from; gum Karga, gum arabic, gum Shiraz, gum tragacanth, pectin, pectinates, algin, alginates, carboxymethyl cellulose gum, cellulose sulphate gum and synthetic gum copolymers of maleic anhydride with a vinyl-alkyl-ether containing up to 5 carbon atoms in the alkyl radical. In the example gum arabic is used together with O-ethyltrimethylammonium chloride-substituted anhydroglucose. Anvil oil is also added to give a paste. |
