abstract | 1381249 Isoxazolidines GRUPPO LEPETIT SpA 24 July 1973 [17 Aug 1972] 35145/73 Heading C2C The invention comprises compounds of the formula where R and R 1 are hydrogen, C 1 -C 6 alkyl, carbo-C 1 -C 5 alkoxy or phenyl provided that both are not hydrogen simultaneously and R 2 is C 1 -C 6 alkyl or C 1 -C 6 acyl. The compounds are prepared by acylating an appropriate substituted isoxazolidine with an appropriate substituted benzoic acid halide in the presence of an organic nitrogen base. The compounds are active on the central nervous system and produce hypnotic, sedative and myorelaxing effects. |
