abstract 1379868 Triazolotriazole derivatives FUJI PHOTO FILM CO Ltd 25 April 1973 [26 April 1972] 19721/73 Heading C2C [Also in Division G2] 3,7 - Dimercapto - 1,5 - diphenyl - 1H,5H - striazolo - [1,2 - a] - s - triazole is prepared by adding potassium thiocyanate to benzalazine in glacial acetic acid and heating. 3,7-Dimercapto- 1,1,5,5 - tetramethyl - 1H,5H - s - triazolo - [1,2-a]- s-triazole is prepared similarly using acetoneazine. 1,5-Diethyl-1,5-dimethyl-3,7-dimercapto- 1H,5H-s-triazolo-[1,2-a]-s-triazole is prepared similarly using methyl ethyl ketone azine. 1,5 - Dibutyl - 3,7 - dimercapto - 1H,5H - striazolo-[1,2-a]-s-triazole is prepared by adding glacial acetic acid to hydrazine hydrochloride and potassium thiocyanate in water adding valeraldehyde dropwise. 1,5-Di-(o-chlorophenyl)- 3,7 - dimercapto - 1H,5H - s - triazolo - [1,2-a] - striazole is prepared by adding potassium thiocyanate to 2,2<SP>1</SP>-dichlorobenzalazine in glacial acetic acid and heating. 1,5-Diethyl-3,7- dimercapto - 1H,5H - s - triazolo - [1,2-a] - striazole is prepared by adding glacial acetic acid to hydrazine hydrochloride and potassium thiocyanate in water and adding propionaldehyde dropwise. 1,5-Dimethyl-3,7-dimercapto- 1H,5H-s-triazolo-[1,2-a]-s-triazole is prepared similarly using acetaldehyde.
