abstract | 1375378 Triazine derivatives BOEHRINGER INGELHEIM GmbH 20 Dec 1971 [21 Dec 1970] 59072/71 Heading C2C Novel triazene derivatives of the formula wherein R 1 is cyclohexyl, phenyl-C 1-2 alkyl or pyridyl-C 1-2 alkyl; R 2 is H, CH 3 or CH 3 CH 2 ; and R 3 is C 1-4 alkyl or C 3-6 cycloalkyl and acid addition and quaternary ammonium salts thereof, are prepared by reacting diazonium salts of the formula where X<SP>n(-)</SP> is an anion of an acid capable of stabilizing the diazonium compound, and n is the charge on the anion with amines of the formula CH 3 (R 1 )NH, or by diazotizing amines for the formula and reacting the diazonium salts then formed with amines of the formula CH 3 (R 1 )NH. 4-Amino-N-isopropylbenzamide is obtained by reducing N-isopropyl-4-nitrobenzamide resulting from the reaction between 4-nitrobenzoyl chloride with isopropylamine. Pharmaceutical compositions, suitable for oral, parenteral or rectal administration, contain the above novel triazenes or acid addition or quaternary ammonium salts thereof together with pharmaceutical cariers or excipients. The compounds possess an immunosuppressive action. |
