The means 20 may comprise a sharp tip 27 (as shown) for piercing the thermometer material, or may comprise means for constricting the bore 15. The bore 15 is open to the atmosphere via a reduced diameter bore 16. The reservoir is formed of material having a high thermal conductivity. |
