titleOfInvention Microporous sheet structure
abstract 1360054 Microporous sheets BAYER AG 9 July 1971 [11 July 1970] 32290/71 Heading C3R Microporous sheet structures are prepared by dissolving a mixture of an NCO-group containing compound together with an OH- and/or NH 2 - group containing compound, which form a polyurethane of Shore-A hardness >40 on polyaddition, in an organic liquid (I) which dissolves the mixture but not the polyurethane formed. I also contains 1-300% by wt. of the polyurethane to be formed of a polar solvent (II) or swelling agent for the polyurethane which has an evaporation number in accordance with DIN 53170 > ยข of that of the remaining constituents of the liquid. Polyaddition of the mixture is effected with simultaneous shaping and removal of the liquid. I may be chlorobenzene, xylene, white spirit, perchloroethylene or carbon tetrachloride. II may be N,N-dimethylformamide, N,N-dimethylacetamide or diethylmalonic acid diethyl ester.
