1355992 Cyclopentenone derivatives ROUSSEL UCLAF 30 April 1971 [30 April 1970] 12448/71 Heading C2C The invention comprises compounds of the formula where R<SP>1</SP> is alkyl of 1-8 carbon atoms, R is H, acyl or α-tetrahydropyranyl and m is 3, 4 or 5. The compounds are prepared by cyclizing under basic conditions an enamine of the formula where represents the residue of a secondary amine to produce a compound of Formula I wherein R is H and, if desired, converting the compound so obtained into a compound of Formula I wherein R is acyl or α-tetrahydropyranyl. |
