abstract | 1354526 Calcitonin compositions ARMOUR PHARMACEUTICAL CO 19 April 1971 60230/73 Divided out of 1354535 Heading A5B Compositions for inducing diuresis of sodium and water comprise a carrier and a "natural fish ultimobronchial calcitonin" or a synthetic analogue thereof having a potency in substantially pure state of 3500 MRC units. They may be in forms suitable for oral, parenteral, rectal and topical administration, e.g. injection preparations, inhalations, sublingual glossets, suppositories and creams. The carrier is specified as being selected from: sterile water, propylene glycol, glycerin, aqueous glucose solution, polyethylene glycol, aqueous gelatin, corn oil, sesame oil, cottonseed oil, isotonic saline, ethyl alcohol solution, CaCO 3 , starch, talcum, lactose, cocoa butter, petrolatum and fluorinated chlorinated hydrocarbons. |
