The following compounds are also prepared: α - hydroxy - γ - methylmercaptobutyronitrile and α - hydroxy - γ - methylmercaptobutyric acid. Pharmaceutical preparations suitable for treating stomach and intestinal ulcers contain (I) as active ingredient; administration is orally. |
