abstract 1352213 Benzothietane - 2 - spiro - 2<SP>1</SP> - (1<SP>1</SP>,3<SP>1</SP>- diazacycloalkanes) BADISCHE ANILIN- & SODA-FABRIK AG 14 July 1971 [15 July 1970] 32958/71 Heading C2C [Also in Divisions C3 and D1] The invention comprises compounds of the formula wherein R<SP>1</SP> is H, halogen or an aliphatic radical linked to the remainder of the molecule through a C-C bond, Y is and R<SP>2</SP> is H or an aliphatic radical linked to the remainder of the molecule through a C-C bond. They may be obtained by reacting either a compound of formula or a compound of formula wherein X is a halogen atom, with a diaminoalkane of formula H 2 N-Y-NH 2 , and with elemental sulphur. Examples are given for the production of the compounds. They are useful as auxiliaries for the textile and rubber industries, particularly as vulcanization accelerators, and as plant protection agents.
