Optional other active ingredients are blood anti-coagulants of the coumarin, hydroxycoumarin and indandione types, and 2,6-difluoro-3,5-dichloro-4-hydroxy pyridine; agents reducing platelet adhesiveness, e.g. acetyl salicylic acid; agents increasing capillary permeability, e.g. 2-acetylamino-3,1,4-benzothiadiazine; and agents increasing blood pressure. The compositions may contain a variety of specified foodstuffs, flavouring materials, edible fats or oils and inert powdered minerals.
