Suitable oleophilic groups include CH 2 (CH 2 ) 11 P y <SP>+</SP>, CH 3 (CH 2 ) 15 Py<SP>+</SP> and CH 2 (CH 2 ) 11 OSO 3 <SP>-</SP>, Py representing pyridine, and suitable resins to which they are attached include sulphonated styrene/divinyl benzene copolymer and styrene/divinyl benzene copolymer having -N<SP>+</SP>(CH 3 ) 3 Cl<SP>-</SP> groups attached thereto.
