1342975 Injection moulding of container closures TAKEDA YAKUHIN KOGYO KK 15 Sept 1971 [16 Sept 1970] 43000/71 Heading B5A [Also in Division B8] A pierceable closure member 5 for a storage vessel Fig. 2, (not shown), is made by transfer moulding, the stages of manufacture involving treating the upper surface of a film 8 with sodium containing solution to produce a rough surface, placing the film in annular grooves 10 of mould A and applying pressure to a ram C so that rubber contained in a reservoir 12 is forced through passages 13 into the cavities 11. Following the vulcanization of the rubber, the ram C and moulds A and B are separated and the closure members 5 are removed. |
