abstract 1340297 Pyrazole derivatives BAYER AG 30 June 1972 [2 July 1971] 30728/72 Headings C2P and C2C Novel compounds of Formula I where R is C 1-6 alkyl or alkoxy, R<SP>1</SP> is C 1-6 alkyl and R<SP>11</SP> is C 1-6 alkyl which may be cyanosubstituted or is phenyl, may be prepared by reacting a pyrazole of Formula III in the presence of an acid-binding agent or in the form of an alkali metal, alkaline earth metal or ammonium salt with a compound of Formula II where Hal is halogen. The starting materials of Formula III may be prepared by means of the following reaction scheme each of the intermediates being isolated. The compounds of Formula I have insecticidal and acaricidal properties and may be used as the active ingredients in conventional pesticidal compositions.
