abstract | 1322987 O,N-Diacylhydroxylamine derivatives RICHTER GEDEON VEGYESZETI GYAR RT 23 Dec 1970 [29 Dec 1969] 61179/70 Heading C2C Novel O,N-diacylhydroxylamine derivatives of the Formula I wherein X is H or a carboxylic acyl group; R is H, unsubstituted or substituted alkyl, aralkyl or aryl; Y is unsubstituted or substituted C 1-15 alkyl, aralkyl, aryl or heterocyclyl; and the pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salts of those compounds containing basic nitrogen atoms, are prepared by reacting alpha-aminoxycarboxylic acid derivatives of the Formula II wherein A is carboxylic acyl or when X in the end-product is H, A is a radical which is capable of protecting an amino radical, and B is OH or reactive functional derivative thereof, with hydroxylamine derivatives of the Formula III and removing the protective group A, if present, of the resulting hydroxylamine derivatives of the Formula IV and, if desired or necessary, acylating the resulting compounds. Pharmaceutical compositions, suitable for oral, parenteral or rectal administration, contain the above novel compounds or acid addition salts thereof together with suitable carriers or diluents. The compounds possess tuberculostatic activity. |
