| abstract | 1322329 Infusion apparatus J S CRUICKSHANK 19 April 1971 [31 Oct 1969] 53584/69 Heading A5R [Also in Division G1] In a drip apparatus comprising a glass bottle 7, a glass drip chamber 4 and a needle or cannula at the end of a tube 5, a float 7 is arranged in the drip chamber 4 to be disposed between a photo-electric cell 12 and bulbs in a holder 11 so as to normally obscure the cell 12 but to allow light from the bulbs to actuate the cell 12 and actuate a warning light and a buzzer 14 when the fluid level in the chamber 4 drops. The cell 12 and holder 11 are arranged in a common yoke straddling the chamber 4 and forming part of an attachment embracing bottle 1 and 8 and holding a battery 13. |
