titleOfInvention Phosphoric acid esters for combating pests
abstract 1320965 Halovinyl phosphoric acid esters CIBA-GEIGY AG 29 Oct 1970 [29 Oct 1969] 51461/70 Heading C2P The invention comprises compounds of the Formula I where R 1 and R 2 are C 1-4 alkyl, Y is hydrogen, chlorine or bromine, Hal is F, Br or Cl and R 3 , when Y is chlorine, is C 1-6 alkyl substituted by at least 2 CL atoms or by one or more F or Br atoms, or, when Y is hydrogen or bromine, R 3 is C 1-6 alkyl which may be substituted by one or more F, Br or Cl atoms. The compounds of Formula I may be prepared by reacting a trialkyl phosphite of the Formula III where R<SP>1</SP> is C 1-6 alkyl with a dihaloacetic or trihaloacetic aoid-R 3 -ester. The compounds of Formula I may be used as pesticides, especially insecticides or acaricides, either alone or in combination with a suitable carrier and/or further additives, including further biocidal compounds.
