abstract | 1319073 Semicarbazides; hydrazine dicarbanilide RICOH KK 27 May 1970 [9 Jan 1970] 25505/70 Heading C2C [Also in Division G2] 1 - Formyl - 4 - methylsemicarbazide is prepared by reacting methyl isocyanate and hydrazine hydrate to form 4-methyl semicarbazide which is then reacted with HCO 2 H in n-C 3 H 7 OH. The corresponding 4-phenyl compounds are prepared similarly using phenyl isocyanate. Hydrazine dicarbanilide is also prepared by reacting hydrazine hydrate and phenyl isocyanate. |
