titleOfInvention Production of nucleotide anhydrides
abstract 1316772 Nucleotide anhydrides YAMASA SHOYU KK 10 June 1970 [12 June 1969] 28172/70 Heading C2P Nucleotide anhydrides are produced by reacting a nucleoside-5<SP>1</SP>-monophosphate with diphenyl phosphorochloridate or tetraphenyl pyrophosphate in a solvent and in the presence of an amine in an amount of more than 0À5 to 2 moles per one mole of the nucleoside-5<SP>1</SP>-monophosphate, and then adding to the product a solution of an acid, or a salt thereof with a tertiary alkylamine or a quaternary alkylammonium hydroxide, which is weaker in its acidity than diphenyl phosphate, in pyridine or one of its derivatives, or in other solvents, prior to being dissolved in pyridine or one of its derivatives. The nucleoside-5<SP>1</SP>-monophosphate may be used in the form of an alkylammonium salt.
