The primary alkanol may be decyl, dodecyl, lauryl, palmityl, stearyl, myristyl or cetyl alcohol. The detergent may be coconut fatty acid ester of sodium isothionate or sodium N-coconut fatty acyl methyl taurate. The composition may also include an abrasive, e.g. pumice. It may be prepared in the form of bars by melting the polyethylene glycol, and adding in order the alkanol, the iodophor and the detergent.
