titleOfInvention | Gasket-forming composition containing a 2-chloro-1,3-butadiene polymer and a curing accelerator system |
abstract | 1310205 Curable chlorobuiadiene polymer compositions W R GRACE & CO 19 April 1971 [30 March 1970] 25548/71 Heading C3E A curable polymer composition comprises an elastomeric polymer of 2-chloro-1,3-butadiene dissolved in a volatile organic liquid, i.e. a liquid which is capable of volatilization from the composition in the course of the overall drying and curing cycle. and as a curing accelerator system 1 to 2 p.b.w. of a lead oxide and 0À25 to 1 p.b.w. of the condesnation product of butyraldehyde and aniline, both per 100 p.b.w. of the elastomeric polymer. The composition may also contain plasticizers, fillers, peptizers, lubricants, antioxidants and pigments and is suitable for use in the preparation of gaskets for aerosol mounting cups. |
