| abstract | 1307737 Laminates NAPHTACHIMIE 30 June 1970 [1 July 1969] 31597/70 Heading B5N [Also in Divisions B2 and C3] Laminates may be prepared by bonding with epoxy resin adhesives sheets formed from (a) a mixture of 75 to 97 weight per cent of isotactic polypropylene and 3 to 25 weight per cent of a substantially amorphous copolymer of at least two olefins or at least one olefin with at least one diolefin or (b) a block copolymer containing 75 to 97 weight per cent of isotactic polypropylene blocks and 3 to 25 weight per cent of ethylene/ propylene random copolymer blocks containing at least 10 weight per cent of ethylene. In example (5) laminates are prepared from sheets of propylene/ethylene block copolymers stabilized with dilauryl thiodipropionate and octadecyl #(3,5 - di - t - butyl - 4 - hydroxyphenyl)- propionate, which have been degreased with soda lye, neutralized with sodium bisulphite and treated with phosphoric/sulphuric/chromic acid mixture before bonding with epoxy resin adhesive. |
