Pharmaceutical compositions having coronary vessel dilating, anti-fibrillating, spasmolytic and anti-hypertensive activity comprise, as active ingredient, at least one 2,6-dialkyl-4-azidoaryl- 1,4-dihydropyridine-3,5-dicarboxylic acid ester of the first general formula above, in admixture with a solid or liquid pharmaceutically acceptable diluent or carrier, and may be administered orally or parenterally. |
