1303578 Photo-polymerisable materials EI DU PONT DE NEMOURS & CO 26 May 1971 [8 June 1970] 17286/71 Heading G2C A photo-polymerisable material comprises (i) a support, (ii) a photo-polymerisable layer containing (a) an ethylenically unsaturated compound containing at least two terminal ethylenic groups, (b) a photo-initiator and (c) a polymeric binder and (iii) an oxygen-impermeable layer of a polymer which is soluble in water or a solution of water and an organic solvent which contains at least 50% by volume of water; the layer being too thin to be mechanically stripped and dispersed therein particles between 0À05 and 50 microns of a polyfluoroethylene polymer or copolymer. Preferred materials (apart from the particles) are those disclosed in Specifications 1148362, 1188921 and 1231345. Specified fluorethylene polymers are tri-and tetrafluorethylene and chlorotrifluoroethylene polymers and copolymers thereof with alkenes, vinyl fluoride or 1, 1-difluoroethylene. |
