abstract | 1302543 Sodium tripolyphosphate compositons LA CITRIQUE BELGE NV 15 June 1970 [17 June 1969] 30640/69 Heading C5D Solutions of sodium tripolyphosphate in increased concentration are prepared by dissolving more than 164 g./litre of sodium tripolyphosphate in an aqueous medium in the presence of a soluble potassium or ammonium salt. The composition may also include a detergent, hydrotropic salt, sequestering agent, percompound, thickening agent, optical brightener, anti-corrosion agent, anti-staining agent, perfume, and colouring. Compounds specified include: Potassium and ammonium salts: potassium pyrophosphate, potassium sulphate, ammonium sulphate, potassium bicarbonate, potassium orthoborate, potassium metaborate, potassium tetraborate, potassium perborate, potassium maleate, potassium citrate, potassium chloride, potassium carbonate, potassium aconitate, tetrapotassium ethylene diamine tetra-acetate, tripotassium nitrilo-triacetate, potassium diethylene triamine penta-acetate, detergents: a salt of a sulphonated polycarboxylic ester (prepared by pyrolysing calcium citrate, sulphonating, esterifying with a polyoxyethylenated fatty alcohol, or polyoxyethylenated nonylphenol and neutralizing with KOH or NaOH), a sulphonated ester of aconitic acid with polyoxyethylenated nonylphenol, potassium sulphosuccinic acid esterified with a polyoxyethylenated fatty alcohol, polyoxyethylenated lauryl alcohol sulphate, potassium linear alkylbenzene sulphonate, polyoxyethylenated nonylphenol, a polyoxyethylenated secondary fatty alcohol, a polyoxyethylenated fatty alcohol, a potassium soap coconut oil fatty acid ethanolamide, lauric acid diethanolamide, sulphonated olefins, alkyl sulphates, secondary alkyl sulphates, hydrotropic salts: xylene sulphonic acid, cumene sulphonic acid, toluene sulphonic acid and potassium salts thereof, sequestering agents: potassium salts of nitrilo triacetic acid, ethylene diamine tetra-acetic acid and diethylene triamine penta-acetic acid, per-compounds: hydrogen peroxide, potassium perborate, thickening agents: polyvinyl pyrrolidone. |
