titleOfInvention | The production of aqueous dispersions containing bubbles suitable for use in the production of sponge sheet material |
abstract | 1301175 Laminates DAINIPPON INK & CHEMICALS Inc 17 March 1970 [17 March 1969 7 April 1969] 12875/70 Heading B5N [Also in Division C3] A laminate comprises a substrate and a sheet, produced by drying an aqueous dispersion of a high molecular weight polymer also comprising gas, e.g. air, bubbles and a particulate hygroscopic porous material which is silica or alumina gel or a zeolite, the sheet being laminated to the substrate by coating, bonding or transfer. The polymer may be a polyurethane, natural or synthetic rubber or a polymer of a monoethylenically unsaturated monomer. The substrate may be sheets of wallpaper, nylon fabric, wood fibre board, polyvinyl chloride sheet, acetate-tricot, steel, nylon tricot, wrapping paper, acrylic jersey or plywood. The laminate may be embossed by passage through rolls. |
