abstract 1298001 Cosmetics ASAHI KASEI KOGYO KK 8 Jan 1970 [17 Jan 1969] 1008/70 Heading A5B [Also in Divisions C3 C2 and C4] A lipstick having a pearl-like lustre is prepared by first crystallising guanine and hypoxanthine from an aqueous solution thereof in the presence of an anionic surface-active agent and to the resulting crystals adding beeswax, lanoline, carnauba wax, bromic acid, cetanol, castor oil, ceresine and a perfume, (see Example 6). A cosmetic milk having a pearl-like lustre is prepared by first crystallising guanosine from an aqueous solution thereof in the presence of an anionic active agent and to the resulting crystals adding a tragacanth-solution, glycerine, castor oil, stearic acid, propylene glycoal-stearine, triethanolamine, water, a perfume and an antiseptic, (see Examples 8 and 11).
