abstract | 1295555 Grafted polyethylene glycols FILMFABRIK WOLFEN VEB 8 Jan 1971 1032/71 Heading C3G [Also in Division G2] Graft polymers of a polyethylene glycol having an average molecular weight of from 1000 to 4000 and acrylic acid and, if desired, vinyl acetate are described. Graft polymers are specified containing 50-75% of polyethylene glycols of molecular weight 1500 or 4000, 2À5-43% of acrylic acid and 7-53% of vinyl acetate. The polymers are made by adding a mixture of dibenzoyl peroxide, vinyl acetate and acrylic acid to the polyethylene glycol at 80‹C. |
