abstract 1285509 Cleaning liquids PRODUITS CHIMIQUES PECHINEY-SAINT-GOBAIN 7 Sept 1970 42690/70 Heading C5D A liquid homogeneous composition, for cleaning and/or drying articles, comprises 90- 99-95% of a water-immiscible organic solvent containing at least 50% of its weight of 1,1,2- trichloro-1,2,2-trifluoroethane and from 10 to 0À05% by wt. of a salt of at least one diamine having the formula in which R is a C 1 -C 25 saturated or unsaturated aliphatic residue and n is 1 to 9, with one or more C 10 -C 30 aliphatic acids containing at least one ethylenic double bond. Typical diamines are oleylaminopropylene amine dioleate and stearylamino propylene amine dioleate, optional solvents are chloroform, methylene chloride, dichloroethane, trichloroethane, 1,1,2,2-tetrachloroethane, 1,1,2,2-tetrachloro- 1,2-difluoroethane and trichlorofluoromethane in quantities of less than 50% by wt. of the solvent. The articles may be of metal, plastics, glass, refractory material or precious stone and include printed circuits and cinematographic films.
