abstract | 1278289 Pesticides containing antibiotics TAKEDA YAKUHIN KOGYO KK 29 Oct 1969 [29 Oct 1968 28 March 1969 20 Sept 1969] 52922/69 Heading ASE [Also in Division C2] Pesticidal compositions for treating or preventing diseases in plants comprise one or both of the antibiotics T-7545-A and T-7545-B or their acid-addition salts, salts with metals, or esters, together with a diluent or carrier and optionally may contain other pesticidal ingredients. The antibiotics T-7545-A and B (also called Validamycin) are white slightly basic hygroscopic powders produced by cultivating Streptomyces hygroscopicus var. limoneus and are identified by their chemical and physical properties (see Division C2). Other active ingredients specified in the Examples are 2- amino-1, 3, 4-thiadiazole and its 5-thiol; 2- formamido-1, 3, 4-thiadiazole; 3-benzylideneamino-4-phenylthiazoline-2-thione; blasticidin- S-benzylamino-benzene sulphonate; kasugamycin; O, O-diisopropyl-S-benzyl-thiophosphate; O-ethyl-S, S-diphenyldithiophosphate; polyoxine; 1, 3-bis (carbamoylthio)-2-(N, N-dimethylamino)-propane hydrochloride; dimethyl (3- methyl-4-nitrophenyl) thiophosphate and 1- naphthyl-N-methylcarbamate. |
