titleOfInvention Process for the adhesive bonding of sheet materials
abstract 1277190 Laminated products SOLVAY & CIE 16 Dec 1970 [18 Dec 1969] 59713/70 Heading B5N Sheet materials such as aluminium and glass are adhered together by interposing between the sheets to be bonded a material in the dry state comprising a copolymer (not being a graft copolymer) of a major proportion of vinyl chloride and up to 50 g./kg. of an aliphatic acrylate or methacrylate containing one or more epoxy groups (especially glycidyl acrylate or methacrylate), the copolymer being free from stabilizers comprising a lead salt, and pressing under heat. The copolymer may also include vinyl acetate and is used in the form of a film, a crÛpe, granules or powder. It may be stabilized by means of an organotin compound.
