In Examples polymers of the above formula obtained by reacting diethyl succinylsuccinate with hexamethylenediamine, tetramethylenediamine, dodecamethylenediamine, 3,9-bis(3- aminopropyl) - 2,4,8,10 - tetroxaspiro(5,5) - undecane and m-xylylenediamine, and by reacting dimethyl succinylsuccinate with 1,8-diamino-pmenthane are coated on aluminium plates and cured by heating.
