[Also in Division C2] A composition for treating peptic ulcers comprises a salt of 7, 8, 13, 13a tetradehydrocorydaline and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier other than water or a common organic solvent. The salt may be the chloride, bromide, iodide, nitrate, sulphate, tannate, glycyrrhizate, gallate, benzilate, anisate, D-glucuronate or citrate. The composition may also include a lubricant and/or a binder. It may be in unit dose form. In an Example, the composition comprises, in addition to the active compound microcrystalline cellulose and corn starch as carriers and light silicic acid anhydride and magnesium stearate as lubricants. |
