[Also in Division C3] Wire enamelling compositions contain a blocked poly(ester-urethaneisocyanate) P blended with polyester, polyester-amide, or poly (amide-imide-ester) resins, e.g. that of the Specification 1,264,901. Polymer P is derived from A an aromatic dicarboxylic acid or ester thereof; B a tris (hydroxyalkyl) isocyanurate; and C a diisocyanate; the molar ratio A:B:C is 1:2:4. Acid A may be dimethyl terephthalate and/or isophthalate; B may be tris (2-hydroxyethyl) isocyanurate; and C may be tolylene, dianisidine, diphenylether, or 4, 4'-diphenylmethane diisocyanate. The diester of A and B may be reacted with C, e.g. in excess cresylic acid; tetraisopropyl titanate may be present.
