titleOfInvention Colour photographic silver halide printing papers
abstract 1,263,441. Colour photographic silver halide light-sensitive material. FUJI PHOTO FILM CO. Ltd. Jan.6, 1970 [Jan. 8, 1969], No.678/70. Addition to 1,247, 754. Heading G2C. A colour photographic light-sensitive silver halide printing paper comprises a support having thereon multiple photographic layers wherein at least one of said layers contains a fluorescent brightening and ultraviolet absorbing agent which is a polymer or copolymer as defined in any of claims 1 to 4 of British parent Specification and a different ultraviolet absorbent in a layer which is the layer containing the (co) polymer or is a layer no farther from the support than the layer containing the (co) polymer, but is not the uppermost protective layer. The different ultraviolet absorbent may be a triazole, benzophenone, thiazolidone, cinnamic acid ester, oxazole, thiazole, imidazole, oxadiazole, thiadiazole, thiophene, benzalazine or a bis-hydroxyarylamide compound. The printing paper has sufficient whiteness and fading under ultraviolet light is prevented by the presence of an ultraviolet absorbent.
