[Also in Division C2] A stabilizing agent for a slurry containing a high proportion of a dispersed solid such as titanium dioxide, comprises a titanium chelate which is the reaction product of monoethanolamine, a titanium orthoester and one or more of ethylene glycol, propylene glycol and diethylene glycol. The chelate is preferably added in an amount of from 0À2 to 2% by weight of the slurry.
