[Also in Division C2] Insecticidal and acaricidal compositions comprise (1) 20 to 80% of O,O-diethyl-O-[quinoxalyl-(2)]-thionophosphoric acid ester, (2) 15 to 80% of inert, higher-boiling hydrocarbon, chlorinated hydrocarbon and/or ester as diluent, and (3) 0.1 to 10% of tertiary amine and/or 0.01 to 10% of stable dipolar aprotic solvent. Component (2) may be chlorobenzene, toluene, xylene, phosphoric acid triethyl ester or amyl acetate, and component (3) may be triethyl amine, pyridine, N-methylpyridine, N,N-dimethyl-N-benzylamine, collidine, dimethyl sulphoxide, N-methylpyrrolidone or acyl.NMe 2 .
