abstract | 1,238,443. Porous coatings. KURASHIKI RAYON K.K. 10 Jan., 1969 [17 Jan., 1968], No. 220/71. Divided out of 1,238,442. Heading B2E. Suede-like sheet material comprises a polymer layer having an upper part of a macroporous structure has pores of the size of from 50 to 300 microns and a lower part having a microporous structure in which the pores are of a size of less than 10 microns, the polymer layer being bonded to a substrate and the macroporous structure being exposed by removing the skin of the upper porous layer. The polymer may be of polyurethane elastomer although various other polymers such as polyvinyl chloride, polyacrylic esters, polyvinylidene chloride, polymethyl styrene, polyamides, polyester amides, polyesters, polybutadiene and butadiene/acrylonitrile copolymers may also be present. The material may be made by the method of Specification 1,238,442. |
