abstract 1,233,264. Coated products. KANEGAFUCHI BOSEKI K.K. 17 May, 1968 [17 May, 1967], No. 23730/68. Heading B2E. [Also in Division C3] Porous sheet materials are prepared by coating a solution in a water-miscible organic solvent, of a polyurethane in an amount from 5 to 40% based on the weight of solution, containing a dispersion of sodium or potassium chloride or sulphate or a mixture thereof in an amount of 10 to 50% by weight based on the weight of polymethane, onto at least one surface of a fibrous base coagulating and regenerating the polymer with an aqueous medium, and thereafter washing and drying the polymer coated on to the fibrous base. In typical Examples a polyesterurethane dissolved in dimethylformamide had added thereto sodium chloride or sodium sulphate and the solutions were coated onto polyester-cotton broadcloth. The coated substrates were immersed in a coagulating bath containing water and then dried. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 1,122,804.
